When the mercury drops, call for this mulled cider every time to get that rolling warm sensation going inside of you!
This recipe calls for bold and confident flavours of maple, cloves, a delightful intense vanilla in paste form, amongst citrus, more spices, fruity delight thanks to quality cider and, of course, gin.
INGREDIENTS (serves 4)
- 180ml Affinity Gin
- 4 pack (1320ml) Australian cider
- 30ml maple syrup
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 whole all spice berries
- 2 cloves
- 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
- 1 orange, sliced and quartered
GARNISH
- Cinnamon stick
METHOD
Combine cider in a pot with the cinnamon stick, maple syrup, all spice berries, cloves, vanilla bean paste and orange. Bring to a simmer for at least 10 minutes. Add 45ml Affinity Gin to your mug and pour mulled cider over the top. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
