Deep in the origins of Old Tom gin is the man Captain Dudley Bradstreet. He's credited for allegedly finding (and exploiting) the loophole in gin laws by dispensing gin through a plaque on the side of his property wall. By preserving the server's anonymity, he was able to profit for 3 months before other establishments followed suit.
Inspired by the history behind this Old Tom style gin, Cam and the Four Pillars team developed this cocktail with a nod to Captain Dudley and his cracking tales.
